Chicago, 111.--Union I/eague Boys' Club The Union League Boys Club has been undergoing cheerfullv the hardship of partial dispossession while improvements were made in its plant. The work nears its end. and the usual activities have been resumed. The biggest club swimming nool in Chicago now occupies a great part of the new basement. The U. L. B. C. won the Inter-Settlement baseball chamnionship. and the Tnter-Scttlemcnt Chess Championship for 1921. The production of "As You Like It" bv a cast representing eleven different nationalities, all members of the U. L. B. C., was one of the dramatic events of the season in Chicaeo. The play was later repeated in the Illinois Theatre under the auspices of the Drama League of Chicago. Dubuque (Iowa) Boys' Club Dubuque Rotary Club swung in behind the Dubuque Boys' Club on a budget campaign as 1921 merged into 1922. Father Howard, President of Columbia College, a local Catholic institution, launched the campaign in an address that struck a high keynote and merits preservation in a permanent form. Earl G. Cook. Club Director, reports splendid progress in the organization of Club activities. The membership is growing as rapidly as it can be cared for. No boy can become a member until he has attended four successive meetings of the Club. Shower baths have been installed at a cost of $750, and other additions are being made to the equipment.
